Root is a game of adventure and asymmetric warfare where 2–4 players (expandable to 6) compete for control of a vast and mysterious woodland realm. Each player commands a uniquely themed faction with its own rules, abilities, and strategies. From ruthless conquerors to rebellious insurgents and wandering rogues, every game unfolds as a new political drama driven by your choices.

In Root, you take on the role of one of four core factions:

• Marquise de Cat: Establish military dominance and industrial control.

• Eyrie Dynasties: Regain lost glory through a rigid, programmed strategy.

• Woodland Alliance: Spark revolutions and undermine the oppressors from within.

• Vagabond: A lone adventurer forming shifting alliances and carving your own path.
